Mostly because they go with everything else and they make you look so chic and classy! I'm all for the "Less is more" motto till I'm ready to experiment with "More is more" ;) Have a blessed Weekend and stay Fabulous! STYLE CRUSH!!!!!!!!

MICAH GIANNELLI First on my style crush list has to be Micah Giannelli!!!! I love... love her style! She's referred to as the style chameleon. She describes her style as personal, constantly evolving, chic and feminine with a tomboy edge at times.  Visit her blog for more style inspiration http://micahgianneli.com/  CIPRIANA & TK QUANN  This crush is very recent but i can't seem to get enough of these twins!!! They are edgy, chic and their natural hair just compliments their look..... Checkout their blog for more inspo http://urbanbushbabes.com/ JESSICA PEARSON  (Gina Torres)   I don't know about her personal style but I've been in love with the style of the character she plays in the TV show suits, ever since the show started. Jessica's style is the real definition of CORPORATE  CHIC! "Creativity never goes out of style"          -to the style-hungry lady                    XO

NO MAKE-UP MAY

Hi Flawless Ladies!!!!! Let's go without makeup for a month!!! Who's in?!!!! I don't have a make-up addiction, i can go out or to work bare-faced and still feel confident.... This is about freeing those pores! I do this once in a while apart from the days i decide to be plain Jane. A whole month (or more) without makeup can do a lot for your skin..... During this challenge you can focus on fixing any problem(black heads, pimples, blemish etc) on your face instead of covering them up. Figure out a good skin care routine that works for you and be on a mission to be flawless without the 'art work' (make-up). I love makeup but sometimes you need to let your skin breathe.                                                                                      I love this facial wash! My version of NO MAKE-UP MAY   Figure out a skin care routine that works for you. I belong to team "our eyebrows gotta be on fleek" so you can fill in your eye

23 & WHITE TEE

This outfit was inspired by the fact that I'm in my last month of being 23...... Its a casual street-chic look for when you want to do "Casual Fridays" Look 1 J's on my Feet............... Look 2  "I don't do casual Fridays"  Enjoy your weekend...... "Simplicity is the ultimate form of sophistication." - the style hungry Lady   XO

CRUSHN' ON CROCHET

Let's time travel to the 70s!!! I'm in love with this Vintage 70s crochet top. Everything crochet excites me lately.... everyone seems to be into the crochet braids and I've fallen for the crochet outfits. Look 1 Styled my fav crochet top with destroy denim shorts for a more edgy look.   Look 2 Paired the crochet top with nude shorts for a clean subtle look. STYLE REHAB ; The Basics

The first question i asked myself when working on this post was: WHAT IS STYLE? The best answer i came across? - Style is about you and the relationship to yourself. Fashion is in clothes, Style is in the wearer.  To be stylish you have to figure out your signature style. Find a look that is your own, based on your body type, personality and lifestyle. You also need to pay attention to details and the fun part that i love; Play dress up, honey! Be open to new silhouettes and trends. We always hear this phrase in the beginning of every year.... New Year, New Me or New year, New beginnings. I normally start my year doing something different to make the year not feel like the last. A hair cut, a lip color I've never tried.... just something different.. This year i am pushing myself to understand my personal style and fashion in general. In any new thing you always begin with the basics. These are timeless pieces that i think you shouldn't live without and you can be rest-ass

HAIR REVIEW!!!!!!

Sorry I've not been consistent in posting on here. I really appreciate the page views so far, its overwhelming. I promise to be consistent this year. First post of 2015 had to be about HAIR!!! I recently purchased hair from HAIR SENTA (Ghana) and here is a review of my purchase and why i think it's worth investing in.It's the harmattan season and i needed a protective style for my hair to keep it from breaking. If this is your first time buying hair extensions or you are looking for a new brand, please keep reading.. For what it’s worth I have no financial gain from telling it like it is about this brand so rest assured this is a true, honest opinion. You know what they say about first impressions... her packaging was everything!!!! I wanted a layered look so i got the silver straight hair in three lengths...22' 18' 14''. The texture of the hair matches mine and it's easy to curl and can also be dyed (can't wait to experiment)
